The Lincoln JHS Honors Chorus performed "If I Ever Fall In Love Again" at the March 19, 2013 Board of Education Meeting.
In cooperation with the Skokie Chamber of Commerce District 69 has developed a video for the purposes of acknowledging and celebrating the educational opportunities provided to the children serviced by District 69. The video will also serve as a valuable source of information to perspective families looking to join our community.

District69 families, we are actively searching out new and innovative approaches in how we deliver services. Our ongoing efforts are to enhance the programming for our students and at the same time, find ways to be more cost effective for all. This email is specific to after-school programming. PLEASE take five minutes and fill out the survey (the survey is no longer available). This survey information will be used to help customize our after-school programming. Your honest feedback is critical to the programming we will eventually be offering. As we get closer to Fall 2011, you will receive more information about how to sign up for after school events and costs associated. We ask that you complete this survey at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your time and effort in this matter.
Sincerely,
School District 69
District 69 PTA becomes a PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)
The 2010-11 District 69 PTA executive board has voted to change our organization to a PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). PTA requires us to pay a portion of dues collected to the state PTA organization. This fee is being raised once again for the upcoming school year. The board would like to keep as much of our dues as possible here in our district. PTO does not require payment to a state organization. District 69 PTO will fund the same programs and function in the same capacity that PTA has in the past. Please join us Thursday, August 4 at 7:30 in the Administrative Center for our first meeting!

End of Year Ecology Message from PTA: This is a reminder that all our district ecology projects are wrapping up this week, and that it is also time to clean out your desks and lockers.
From Home: Please bring in your old cell phones (we have already earned several hundred dollars for our schools), ink cartridges, printer cartridges, plastic rings (from multi-pack cans), pull-tabs from aluminum cans (for the Ronald McDonald houses) and old greeting cards. Collection areas for Madison and Edison are directly outside the school offices, and collection areas for Lincoln are in the LMC and in the main office.
From School (Desk and Locker Cleanouts): Please remember to REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE! Say NO to garbage bins and YES to recycling bins! Recycle all paper and cardboard by placing them directly into classroom recycling bins. If they fill up, please bring them to the main recycling bins in your buildings and continue filling them up in your classrooms. All old crayons (whole and pieces) can be placed directly into drawstring bags in the common recycling areas in your schools. If students have gently used school supplies that are suitable for giving to others for next year, please place those items in the S.O.S. (Share Our Supplies) bin at Edison, or ask teachers at Madison and Lincoln if they can use these supplies for next year (for instance, unused folders or spirals, gently used or unused glue sticks or bottles, pencils, pens, erasers, markers and other supplies) and find out where they should be stored.
Let's make this year the best we've ever had for increasing our recycling input and decreasing our garbage output! Thank you! -- The PTA Ecology Committee
