The goal of the Library Media Center(LMC) is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. As the information center of the school, the LMC program supports and enriches the curriculum. The LMC Specialist collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and teach information problem-solving skills that are integrated with grade level curriculum.

The library collection consists of over 10,000 books, magazines, audiocassette tapes, videos/DVD's and CD-ROMs. Students have access to automated catalog and research stations with electronic encyclopedias, atlases, and the Internet. Our LMC operates on a flexible schedule. In addition to weekly class visits, students can come in at any time to select materials or conduct research.Students may borrow up to three items for a period of two weeks. Materials that are not overdue can be renewed for an additional two weeks. Students who have overdue materials will not be allowed to check out until the late materials have been returned.
