I am truly excited for this new 5th grade year! It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to be your teacher this year. I am ready to learn all about who you are and how you learn.
I strive for a classroom atmosphere that fosters imagination and provides a safe, warm learning environment. Since we all come from so many diverse backgrounds, we have so much to learn from each other and share with our classmates. We will be focusing on your creativity and readiness to learn!

About me
I am Ms. Walker and I have been teaching at Edison for the past three years. Before I moved to Chicago, I taught in Los Angeles, California for four years. I truly enjoy teaching and can't wait to embark on my new class this year! When I'm not teaching, I love to be outdoors and participating in any sort of running races that I can. I'm sure your student will be coming home to share stories about all my race adventures.
