We are fortunate to have students from all the world at our school. Our English Language Learners speak over 18 different languages. In class, ELL students study vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, American holidays and culture. Feel free to contact me if you should have any questions or concerns.

Ideas to Help Your Child Learn English at Home:
Ask your child to help you cook a meal and talk about cooking it while speaking in English.
Go to the Skokie Public Library once a week to choose new books. Ask your child to read to you from books aloud.
When your family visits new places, have your child keep a journal telling about the new things they saw, heard and did.
