About me

I have been teaching 7 years, 6 of which have been at the wonderful Edison. I am looking forward to my third year teaching 5th graders and watching all of them grow into fabulous young adults. I grew up in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb just around the corner. I have an older brother and a younger sister, so I always had someone around to talk to and play with. I was married to Mr. Bye in the fall of 2009 and we now have beautiful daughter Jillian. Her favorite thing to do is listen to music and dance!

When I am not teaching. I love to cook and bake. Jillian is following in my footsteps and has began to really enjoy banging on the pots and pans. :) I also enjoy relaxing with a good book,  going on walks and spending time with friends and family. Now, I look forward to spending a great year with all of you.
